Non Laser Tattoo Removal

What is the tattoo removal treatment process?

Tattoo Removal using the skin’s natural rejection response

With our tattoo removal method we make use of the natural rejection response of the skin and its healing process to remove the tattoo ink completely from the body. Using a micro pigmentation device we remove small sections of the epidermis in the form of small circles with a maximum depth of 0.3 mm. Allowing skin bridges between the circles reduces the risk of scarring compared to treating larger areas.

The patented removal liquid SKINIAL-EX, based on (lactic) milk acid, is applied to the treated area. It slowly penetrates through the tattoo ink. It then reacts with the macrophages which have encapsulated the color molecules up until now. These cells then lose their strength and release the tattoo pigment. The macrophages that have surrounded and protected the tattoo ink are now recognized by the body’s defence system as a foreign substance and rejects them directly to the surface of the skin where a scab will form. This scab dries after a few days and the treated area heals completely within a few weeks. Read more about lactic acid in treatments.

After 8 to 10 weeks the tattoo removal treatment can be continued at adjacent areas until the entire tattoo is removed. After the healing process these treated areas assume the original skin color and if desired can be tattooed again.

What advantages does the Skinial tattoo removal treatment offer?

Removes All the Colours

All colours and colour combinations can be removed with our tattoo removal method without laser. This includes not only tattoo ink, but also special mixtures. In nearly all cases we can remove the colour from the treated area with the first treatment.  Read more

Lower Number of Treatments

In comparison to the laser method, the number of treatments with Skinial tattoo removal is substantially lower. For small tattoos (up to 16 sq cm), depending on the form, it usually only requires 3 to 4 tattoo removal treatments. Therefore our tattoo removal is clearly cheaper than tattoo removal method with laser.

No Residue in the Body

The tattoo ink leaves the body through the surface of the skin and the removal liquid will be completely degraded by the body’s natural metabolism within hours. No pollutants remain in the body after Skinial tattoo removal!

Less Pain

Tattoo removal with Skinial is generally less painful than the original tattooing.

What results can be expected?

A tattoo is not a graffiti

Clients’ expectations of tattoo removal are often very high. They think tattoos can be removed in every size and location so that the skin looks the same as before the tattooing. This expectation cannot be guaranteed by any tattoo removal method. A scar-free tattoo removal cannot be guaranteed. It depends far more on the individual’s skin characteristics and the genetic condition of the client, than the removal method used.

The skin is a living organ, unlike a wall with graffiti which can easily be removed. Therefore, everybody reacts differently. A good result is if you can no longer see any of the tattoo at a distance of one metre. In our detailed consultation before the beginning of the treatment, we discuss your expectations and the feasible result.

In the majority of tattoos that we have removed, you could not recognize the former tattoo with the naked eye. You can expect results with a small tattoo after 2 to 3 treatments and for the skin to return to normal at the earliest after 9 to 12 months. This is due to the healing process between each treatment which takes 8 to 10 weeks. The skin will often need even more time for the last of the redness to disappear. A larger tattoo clearly needs a longer period for the removal. The larger the tattoo, the greater the risk of scarring.
